Campground Host, Shirley West, retired this past season after 26 years

Longtime Abbott Creek Campground Host, Shirley, recently retired after 26 years!

This remote and picturesque campground in the midst of old growth forest runs along Abbott Creek but is within walking distance to many other creeks and rivers, including the Woodruff Creek and the Rogue River. Quiet and secluded campsites, there are many sites for family and friends. Amazing fishing locations, there are many hiking trails with easy access. Sites to see include Rogue Gorge and Natural Bridge.

The sites in this campground are located along Abbott Creek. There is easy access to an extensive OHV trail system. (NOTE: The Prospect OHV Trail system does not open until July 1st, 2016. It is closed right now for protection of wildlife.)

Water pumps are available at Union Creek Campground and at Prospect Ranger Station, approximately 6 miles north or south of Abbott Creek on Hwy. 62.

This campground is 100% first come, first served; no reservations required.
